Gamenote started in a happy home full of cats. The naughtiest of them, Joy, is a white kitty who loves to eat, to sleep and to rub against her human’s legs — and to knock cups off the table and tease the family’s baby until everybody laughs.

Joy’s human is an illustrator and designer. The brand began as a way to celebrate the time spent with Joy and the baby, and to share that happiness with every family and every child who loves a kitty. That is why a cat in round glasses sits on every box.

Today the table is bigger: tracing boards, foam letters, word builders, whiteboards, bins and caddies for parents, homeschoolers and teachers. The rule hasn’t changed — if it doesn’t make a child smile at the table, Joy knocks it off.

    A great addition to learning!

    Hands down wish I would have bought this sooner. We just received this set today and I went to the mail tonight and immediately opened it. The size was just right and the colors really popped. My daughter loved how it looked and it really drew her attention. It is easy to use and really brought some much fun to her learning experience. The board wasn’t too thick and fit nicely on her lap and the magnetic strength was good. Typically they are too strong, but this one was just right to where she could pull them off herself without them just completely falling off if turned upside down. Overall super happy with this product.

    These helped so much

    Quality purchase.

    I purchased these for my daughter as she homeschools 3 of her 5 children and she couldn’t stop talking about what great quality these boards were. She stated they are thick, and wipe off easily.     A winner!

    This was a gift for a 8 yo girl. I had sent her an Origami frog, and she was then wanting to learn how to do Origami. Since I don't live close to her, I opted to send her this kit. It was perfect! She is so excited with every project she does, and there are many. She sends me pictures of her completed projects. The specially printed paper for each project makes it more exciting for kids!!!!! I think this is the perfect stepping stone to a love of Origami!!!!!

Magnetic letters, tracing boards and classroom supplies from Gamenote

Tracing boards that teach letter formation

A magnetic tracing board is one of the gentlest ways to teach handwriting. The Gamenote ABC board shows capitals on one side and lowercase on the other, prints the stroke order next to every letter and colours vowels red so sound work happens at the same time. As the stylus moves, steel beads rise with a soft click, giving children the sight and sound of a letter being formed. Our number board covers 1 to 20, and the shapes and lines board builds the pencil control that letters depend on.

Magnetic alphabet letters for phonics

Foam magnetic letters let children build words before they can write them. Gamenote kits come with 178 or 238 pieces, full-cover magnets, a double-sided magnetic writing board and a divided case that keeps every letter sorted. Choose the eight-colour kit for open play or the red-and-blue kit when you want vowels and consonants to stand apart for CVC, CVCC and CCVC practice. Our tabletop word builder pocket charts take the same idea further with picture pairs and colour-coded sound cards.

Dry-erase lap boards and pockets

Reusable dry-erase supplies save paper and time. Gamenote magnetic lap boards measure 9 × 12 inches with a lined side and a blank side, and come in packs of 6, 12 or 24 with a marker and eraser per board. Our 10 × 14 dry-erase pockets fit letter-size and 9 × 12 worksheets, include pen loops and binder rings, and come in packs from 10 to 70 in bright, pastel, black or white.

Classroom storage and art-table organisers

Tidy rooms need the right containers. Our clear poster storage bags keep bulletin-board sets flat, 6-quart latching bins and 5-quart cubby bins sort manipulatives by colour, and a wood-and-metal clipboard stand keeps a dozen clipboards upright. On the art table, the rotating art supply organizer spins seven removable cups within reach of every seat, while pencil boxes, a rainbow wooden caddy and a brush washer with a built-in palette finish the setup.
